Santa has one wish for the 2020 holiday: A world with everyone safe and healthy!

Prairie Pines is blessed to have one special Santa and he is ready to greet all the special kids who are waiting to see him. We know they also have some big wishes this Christmas season. We have implemented some changes to make Santa’s visit a reality this year. Here is what you can expect:

• Santa visits will be held in our Courtyard Garden behind the Old Barn Christmas Shop.
• The traditional Santa sleigh scene will be located on a covered deck.
• At his discretion, Santa may allow children under 5 to sit on his lap. He will use a handheld face shield when speaking to them. He can place it down for a brief picture.
• Children under 5 are not required to wear a mask however, mask-wearing is encouraged. Please use your best judgement for the child.
• Children 5 and over will sit close to Santa and are required to wear a mask. He will use a handheld face shield when speaking to them. He can place it down for a brief picture.
• Children under 12 can sit with Santa and pose for a picture with Santa.
• Adults and those 12 and older will not be allowed to pose for a picture with Santa this year. We will provide a nearby area for outdoor family photos.
• In case of inclement weather or other health situation that could possibly arise, Santa will not be here. We will post the most current information on our Facebook page.
