Do I need to make a reservation?2024-12-04T16:14:35-06:00

No, you do not need to make a reservation. We do have a limited number of trees available at this time. But we do our best to find a tree for every customer.

What is the price of admission?2024-12-04T16:14:54-06:00

Admission to the farm is FREE. You can support our farm with your tree, shop, and food & drink purchases.

Can we bring our dogs?2024-12-04T16:16:59-06:00

Please leave your dogs and other animals at home unless he or she is a fully trained service dog or assistance animal. Thank you!

Will someone help us with our tree?2024-12-04T16:17:16-06:00

Yes. Once you have selected your tree we will shake, net, and tie your tree on your vehicle. This service is included with the price of the tree. The choose-and-cut fields allow you to cut your own, and we will process it the same back at the Old Barn.

Do we need to bring anything to get a tree?2024-12-04T16:17:30-06:00

We supply all the tools, including saws, rope, and netting, that you need to cut a tree and take it home with you. Power saws are not permitted.

Do you have food and drinks?2024-12-04T16:19:17-06:00

Yes, we have cookies, hot chocolate, apple cider, bottled water and soft drinks on weekends. We always offer water, soft drinks. We sometimes have hot mini donuts available. Purchases support the Maize High Choral department.

We have pre-cut or choose-and-cut trees, tractor pulled trailer rides to the tree fields, heated Old Barn Christmas shop with holiday decor and gifts, fresh plain, decorated, or custom decorated wreaths, farm grown lavender products, concessions featuring hot drinks and holiday cookies, visits with Santa (specific hours), children’s train (during Santa hours only), indoor heated buildings and restrooms, garden paths and time in nature.

Do you have horse-drawn carriage rides?2024-12-04T16:23:08-06:00

The horse-drawn wagon ride will no longer be available. The horses and driver have retired and their final season was 2023. When the trailers are going to the tree fields, you are welcome to go along for a ride.

Are we allowed to take photos?2024-12-04T16:30:15-06:00

You are welcome to take non-professional photos during open hours only. Cameras and cellphones only – no tripods, flash equipment, or large props allowed. Please be careful not to disturb the experience of other guests and stay on the provided walking paths. Do not climb on rocks and waterfalls or walk through flower beds and crops. Our farm has a private home on the property. Stay in public areas only.  We do not allow professional photo sessions at this time. Professional photo sessions are scheduled outside of open hours.

We do not charge for visits with Santa. We are able to sustain this practice through your purchase of shop ornaments and decor, holiday cookies and drinks, photo purchases, and tree purchases.

Is your farm handicap accessible?2024-12-04T16:23:59-06:00

We have designated handicapped parking spots at the front of the parking lot near the barn. The buildings are wheelchair accessible. Most of the pre-cut lot area is flat or gently sloping and accessible but the ride out to cut your own trees does involve a tractor-trailer ride. We are located on a gravel lot.

We accept cash, credit cards, and Apple Pay.

No, we do not deliver trees. However, we can help you select the tree, carry it to your car, and tie it to your car.

Do you allow customers to pre-tag their tree before the season?2024-12-04T16:25:07-06:00

No, we don’t allow pre-tagging or take phone/online orders for trees. We can hold a paid tree for you for a few days if arranged in person.

What do you sell besides trees?2024-12-04T16:25:28-06:00

Our Old Christmas Barn gift shop has everything from ornaments, holiday decor, plain and decorated fresh wreaths (28″, 32″, 36”), tree stands, roping/garland, tabletop trees, tree bags, and other items.

We do not sell potted trees or trees for planting.
